How to Join Ironveil
Download the official launcher, create a verified IronveilID and take your first steps from Moonglow into the Academy.
STEP BY STEP
From a new download to your first character

Download the launcher
Download the official Windows launcher from Ironveil. Keep the launcher after installation because it is also the updater and the correct way to start the game.

Install or update
Open UOIronveilLauncher.exe, choose a writable installation folder and select Install / Update. Wait until the launcher says that Ironveil is ready to play.

Start from the launcher
For this first session and every later session, open the launcher and select Play UO Ironveil. Never use ClassicUO.exe as your normal shortcut.

Create your IronveilID
In the client, enter your email and password and select Create IronveilID. Enter the verification code sent to your email, then sign in.

Choose an account slot
One verified email protects Account 1 and Account 2, with five character slots on each. Create a new game account, or use Link existing once if you already have an older Ironveil account.

Create your character
Choose your name and appearance. Ironveil has no permanent class selection: your trained skills and stats define your build.

A new Human begins in Moonglow. Follow the personal guide to the Academy portal and use the protected training rooms to learn the shard.

IRONVEIL ID
One verified email, two game accounts
Account creation and recovery happen inside the custom Ironveil client opened by the launcher.
Returning player
Sign in with your IronveilID, choose the intended slot and select Link existing once. Enter the old game-account username and password to preserve its characters.
Account recovery
Use Forgot password? in the IronveilID window. Staff will never ask for your password or email verification code.

QUICK HELP
Before you ask for support
The client says Patch Required
Close the client, open UOIronveilLauncher.exe and select Install / Update. Start the game again with Play UO Ironveil.
The Play button is unavailable
Wait for the manifest check to finish. If files are missing or outdated, select Install / Update and leave the launcher open until it reports that Ironveil is ready.
I already have launcher 1.3.0
You can open it normally. It supports self-update and will replace itself with the current release after verifying the official download.
I need help from staff
