Banking
Open your bank box and use the banker’s normal services. Gold Tickets follow the same rules and values as they do for other players. There is no outlaw surcharge or bonus.
IRONVEIL WIKI · OUTLAW LIFE
Buccaneer’s Den welcomes outlaws. A temporary Criminal and a Murderer can use its ordinary town services, but only a dead Murderer may use a Murderer’s Ankh.
MURDER COUNTS
| Rule | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Red status | Five or more long-term murder counts |
| Long-term decay | One count per 12 hours online with that character |
| Offline time | Does not advance the timer; changing characters does not transfer progress |
| New reported murder | Resets the character’s murder-decay deadline |
Online progress is saved across logout and restart. Decay is processed by the regular server check, so the displayed count can update a few minutes after the interval ends. Short-term murder counts use their separate existing rules.
Eligible characters can log out immediately inside the active guarded areas of Britain and Moonglow on Felucca. This benefit is unavailable while criminal, poisoned, fighting, under a recent aggression or combat flag, or after recently supporting a player or pet involved in PvP.
It is also blocked when an owned pet is fighting or has recent aggression, while carrying a faction sigil, during an active duel or PvP event, or while involved in an active town siege. Other locations retain their normal logout rules.
BUCCANEER’S DEN
Within Buccaneer’s Den, Blue players, temporary Criminals and Murderers may use the banker, Gold Ticket banking, shops, healer and other ordinary town services.
Open your bank box and use the banker’s normal services. Gold Tickets follow the same rules and values as they do for other players. There is no outlaw surcharge or bonus.
Buy and sell through the city’s regular vendors, including Mage, Alchemist, Tailor and Bowyer. Their normal Ironveil stock and prices apply.
The local healer can resurrect a Blue ghost, a temporary Criminal ghost or a Murderer ghost. Walk close enough for the healer to notice you, then accept the resurrection prompt.
These outlaw-friendly service rules belong to Buccaneer’s Den. Other towns keep their own existing rules.
FOR MURDERERS
If your character is Red and dead, find a Murderer’s Ankh and double-click it to request resurrection. A temporary Criminal who is not a Murderer cannot use this shrine, and neither can a Blue ghost.
The main sanctuary stands in Buccaneer’s Den. Other Murderer’s Ankhs may be placed in the world; your .pg overview points to the nearest one on your current map.
If you remain a Murderer ghost for five minutes after dying, open .pg and choose Return to Buccaneer’s Den. You arrive at the main Murderer’s Ankh and resurrect there. You do not resurrect where you died. The countdown continues when you log out and when the server restarts; an ordinary resurrection ends that countdown.
Resurrection through the Ankh or emergency return gives you ten seconds of protection from an immediate repeat kill. Moving or taking an action ends that protection.
AFTER RESURRECTION
After resurrection, your character attempts the normal recovery from its own corpse when that corpse is within 2 tiles, on the same map and in line of sight. Eligible equipment can return to its previous slots through the ordinary recovery checks.
The corpse must still belong to you, remain uncarved and allow you to loot it. Occupied equipment slots, backpack capacity and other normal restrictions still matter; items that cannot be recovered remain on the corpse. This does not retrieve a distant corpse or bypass loot rights. Murderer resurrection protection prevents this recovery while that protection is active.
