Weapon training is not role training
You can hit a monster with a sword but still lack the Precision required by a Warrior technique. Swordsmanship and Mysticism are separate values: improve the missing one while carrying the Warrior Codex.

Specialized power · Skill guide
Acts as Ironveil Precision for Warrior PvM and unlocks Berserker or Guardian Codex techniques.
Recommended activities for Mysticism at each skill range.
View the training tableOn Ironveil, Mysticism is Precision: the special role skill for Warrior abilities against monsters. It develops the Berserker or Guardian Codex path.
Maximum skill: 120 with a matching Power Scroll. It starts with a 100 cap. Scrolls unlock 105, 110, 115 or 120; you still train the points and keep the same shared total of 720.
Which value counts? The Warrior calculations use effective Mysticism. The Berserker and Guardian supporting-skill calculations separately use their required base skills.
If a step says to use a skill, open your character window, choose Skills and use the button beside that skill. If it says to use a tool, double-click the tool in your backpack. Passive benefits work automatically.
Read the conditions above each table. A percentage may describe a chance, a damage component or a multiplier: those are different things. The other values stay fixed unless the table says otherwise.
What the skill affects: The Warrior calculations use effective Mysticism. The Berserker and Guardian supporting-skill calculations separately use their required base skills.
Qualified Berserker with weapon skill fixed at 100, or qualified Guardian with Parrying fixed at 100. This part uses the average of the two skills. Rank, template support and other effects are separate.
| Effective Mysticism | Average skill | Endgame factor |
|---|---|---|
| 80 | 90 | 77.5% |
| 90 | 95 | 81.25% |
| 100 | 100 | 85% |
Both relevant skills at 120 give average 120 and a 100% factor. This factor is applied inside the PvM attack-bonus calculation; it is not the complete final damage multiplier. Individual Warrior abilities can have different formulas.
Only the skill in the first column changes unless the table says otherwise. Each extra trained point still uses one point from your shared total of 720.
Keep the weapon skill for Berserker, or Parrying for Guardian at 100, with the required Codex and template. This factor uses the average of the two skills; rank and supporting skills are separate.
| Role skill | Average with partner | Endgame factor |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | 100 | 85% |
| 110 | 105 | 88.75% |
| 120 | 110 | 92.5% |
With both this skill and the weapon skill for Berserker, or Parrying for Guardian at 120 the average is 120 and this factor reaches 100%. It is one part of the PvM attack bonus, not a promise of that much extra final damage. These custom Codex bonuses apply to eligible monsters.
You can hit a monster with a sword but still lack the Precision required by a Warrior technique. Swordsmanship and Mysticism are separate values: improve the missing one while carrying the Warrior Codex.
One recommended activity for each skill range, with a short note on what you need.
Before you start: set Mysticism to Up and leave room under the shared 720-point total. Set an unwanted skill to Down if the total is full.
NPC training: when the trainer listed for this skill offers a lesson, the fixed price is 300 gold and the lesson can reach 50.0 if both the individual and total caps have room.
Training area: supported Academy actions receive 5× normal gain through 80.0. An action still needs to run a real skill check; the Academy bonus cannot make an automatic or blocked action train.
Beyond 100: consume the matching 105, 110, 115 or 120 Power Scroll first. A scroll raises only the individual cap; it grants no trained points and does not increase the shared 720-point total.
Repeat the single activity listed for your level. These are practical training choices; the ranges are recommendations, not new unlock requirements.
| Your skill | What to repeat | Quick note |
|---|---|---|
| 0.0–50.0 | Weaponsmith lesson | Optional NPC lesson; 300 gold when offered and room under your caps. |
| 50.0–80.0 | Land Warrior Codex melee PvM hits | Carry the Warrior Codex, equip the matching melee weapon and land authorized PvM hits. |
| 80.0–100.0 | Land Warrior Codex melee PvM hits | Carry the Warrior Codex, equip the matching melee weapon and land authorized PvM hits. |
| 100.0–120.0 | Land Warrior Codex melee PvM hits | Carry the Warrior Codex, equip the matching melee weapon and land authorized PvM hits. |
Weapon accuracy training has its own opposed check. Do not confuse that check with this role skill.
For ordinary qualified PvM attacks, Berserker uses the average of effective Mysticism and weapon skill; Guardian uses effective Mysticism and Parrying. The shared endgame curve gives factors 40%, 70%, 85% and 100% at average skill 0, 80, 100 and 120. Codex rank and supporting-skill power remain separate, and individual techniques have their own formulas.
Listed amounts describe the stated conditions. Equipment, target rules, damage, healing limits and other effects can change the final result. An example of a chance is never a promise of the same outcome on every attempt.
